Strategy Overview
Our project began with strategy work of which the main points are summarized below
BRAND SUBSTANCE

Mission : Giving caregivers access to highly sustainable children's products at an attainable price point.

AUDIENCE

Sam is our target audience persona and she is a mom who is conscious about sustainability but finds it hard to justify the cost of childrens items that don't last long. She needs balance in sustainability, affordability and longevity.

POSITIONING

Marlowe & Sage has a unique position not only in their emphasis on sustainability, but with their wide range of product offerings as well as competitive price point.

PERSONALITY

The human personality we outlined for the brand had a soft, caregiver presence while also a playfulness to it. Our main personality traits were nurturing, warm, wise, and encouraging.

Visual Identity
LOGO DESIGN

Our primary logo is a custom word mark that utilizes a rounded serif that provides a softness alongside a classy and organic style. The '&' is uniquely intertwined to flow with the lettering and give it an individual style.

The logomark takes the initials of the brand and intertwines them through the '&'. This ties in with the logo well and creates clear regognition between elements.

SUPPORTING ELEMENTS

The patten has a playful and simple style through the use of soft, geometic shapes and leaves. The simplicity gives it versatility to be utilized in a variety of applications. The icons are illustrated with light linework and display various imagery related to products and sustainability.
